This blog is a public presence for 6 (now 7)generations of Australian born artists, all descendents of Scots from Skye, Eliza Mackenzie Born at Balgownie, Wollongong NSW 21.3.1850, parents Alexander MacKenzie and Elizabeth MacKenzie (nee Hanks 2nd wife)
Alexander Mackenzie Snr and Jnr emigrated to Australia on the ship, the "William McNicoll" 1838. They donated the land for Fairy Meadow Public School.
